The Kickin 'Dance Zone School KIDZ & TEENZ invites children between the ages of 5 and 17 to be creative with music, dance, drama and singing.
The K.I.D.Z school, as seen on ITV & CBBC channels in the UK, keeps your children and teens active by discovering their talents and creativity through theater and dance, and offers your child a non-competitive element during our summer program.
The Kickin 'Dance Zone School Philosophy The FitCamp Team sees many of their performers return to Fit'n'Fun KIDZ year after year.
The kids and teens can join in all the fun, creativity, music, dance, drama and get a first experience of show production.
With Fit’n’Fun K.I.D.Z, your child becomes part of a close-knit team that produces a show in just 4 days to perform for guests. Lydia Campbell, leader of Fit’n’Fun K.I.D.Z, believes that all children should have the opportunity to experience dance and drama, regardless of age, ability, language or nationality.
The goal is to improve self-confidence, self-image, creativity, coordination, sense of rhythm and motivation, by making them part of an international performance team in dance, music, theater and organization.
The training is so diverse and includes different dance and stage techniques, from street dance to acrobatics, martial arts and mime. It doesn't matter what level ... "we don't expect all children to have the same background or experience of dancing ...". During this week, the team works to develop the interests and strengths of the children and teens.
This process enhances their passion for the performing arts and gives them the confidence to discover new styles of dance and theater with a focus on collaborative learning: the team encourages the children and teenagers to work together regardless of their nationality, gender, age. This enhances emotional and social development and increases learning capacity.
The end result is always a spectacular Fit & Fun Show on Tuesday evenings, in which all children and teenagers are represented.
Once again the team will lead a Teenz program in addition to the Kidz dance program. The Kidz and Teenz rehearsals will take place at the same time but will be divided into different age groups.
We invite everyone aged 5-10 to the Kidz program and everyone aged 11-17 to the Teenz program. Both programs prepare participants for the Fit'n'Fun Show on Tuesday evening. The price for one week is € 40 or € 55 for two weeks including all activities in the program and a special event shirt.
Places are limited (40 Kidz and Teenz per week) so early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
Please note that the camp is only accessible to Club La Santa guests. If there are not enough participants for an event (this rarely happens),
